About the Journal

Aims and scope

The Journal of Advances in Science, Engineering and Technology (JAdSET) is a peer-reviewed journal that offers rapid review and publication.  Accepted submissions will be presented as clear, concise reports of current research for a global readership concerned with all aspects of science, engineering, and technology.  Scientific quality and clarity are paramount.

The articles suitable for inclusion in JAdSET should be concise; complete manuscripts, including title, authors/affiliations, abstract, text, figures, tables, and references, must not exceed 7000 words.  However, the word count will vary with the article type. All manuscripts must be prepared and submitted following Instructions for Authors.  JAdSET can publish Supplementary Information.

Research papers that concentrate on frontier research and current topical issues in the fields of science, engineering, agriculture, and technology will be published in JAdSET.

Manuscripts are expected to address one or more of the following themes:

Agriculture

The editors welcome manuscripts on innovative agricultural advances, methods, and techniques pertaining to food, feed, industry, forestry, and environmental interests.  Any new techniques must be compared with older techniques.  Manuscripts describing methods that are simply repeats of older methods with a different substrate will be considered, but the onus will be on the author to explain innovative aspects of the method.

Physical sciences

Research related to physical sciences that covers issues of analytical techniques, environment, theoretical and computational physics, chemical, material sciences, and renewable energy. Besides, physical, inorganic, and natural product chemistry, among others.

Biological sciences

Cutting-edge research in botany, conservation, ecology, evolution, genetics, marine biology, biomedical research, microbiology, molecular biology, physiology, zoology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, computational biology, and genomics.

Mathematics

Statistics, pure and applied mathematics.

Engineering

Topical issues in areas of civil (water and environmental, geo-technical, transportation and highways, structural and materials, and construction management), mechanical (manufacturing processes, metallurgy, mechanics of machines and thermodynamics), and electrical (artificial intelligence and automation, green energy, networks and communication, power system technology) engineering.
